About us
Berkeley Gardens Day Nursery is a private run Nursery, available for full and part time places. We are open from the hours of 8am until 6pm, 5 days a week.

Aims
Berkeley Gardens Day Nursery creates a healthy, happy environment for your children to learn to explore and grow. We support this process with policies that have been put in place to support and protect your children whilst they are in our care.

Early Years
Children are encouraged to learn, interact and develop in a caring environment. We assess them daily and respond to their individual needs.

Welfare
We provide a secure and pleasant environment for every child to develop and thrive. We aim to make every child feel happy and safe.

Assessment
Every child is observed and assessed in order to further their learning and development. Staff then share this information with the child’s parents.

Development
The children are encouraged to increase their skills in all areas of communication and play. We offer them a wide range of varied materials and toys to allow them to discover and explore new things.

Communication
We encourage good verbal communication between staff and parents. This ensures continuity between home and nursery for the children.

Meals
We provide fresh healthy balanced 2 course meals daily. Snacks consist of chopped fruit and vegetables.

Staff
Our staff are experienced and fully committed to making your child feel safe and at home in a happy caring environment.

Prices
Our fees are calculated over 52 weeks per year. Our weekly amounts are multiplied by 52 and divided by 12.

Policies
We have policies in place for all areas and aspects of our nursery. All of which are available for parents to see.

Welfare
The health and safety of all the children are of fundamental importance. We aim to provide a secure and pleasant environment for everyone. We practice a whole range of safety policies and procedures. Your child is allocated a ‘Key Person’ within their room, who is responsible for your child’s well being, ensuring your child feels individual, secure and cherished while they are away from home.
